Wallflower



I began this sketch as I often do, with the eyes, and it led me here.
Where exactly "here" is, I'm not sure.

    This is a wonderfully expressive sketch, Peter!
    I'm curious about the technique.
    I can't help noticing that the gray and red marks have a slightly hazy quality to them, while the black line work is very crisp.
    Are you working on both sides of a sheet of tracing paper or vellum? Or is it Photoshop?

    Lovely, reminds me of someone I know... Working two sides of tracing paper is something I've never tried...Hmmm, where's that tracing pad gotten to...
