Not so intelligent design




Apparently, scientists have unearthed fossils of what CNN has rather dubiously described as a saber-toothed squirrel.
If they can use it for their blog, I'm damn well using it for mine!

    Peter, for the record: the name "Cronopio" pays homage to a beneficial fantastic being imagined by Argentine writer Julio Cortázar in 1962. If you like jazz you'll like his "nouvelle" or long story El Perseguidor (The Pursuer) inspired by Charlie Parker. I'm sure there is a translation accessible.

    Last night we had Ice Age (Final meltdown) on the TV. Mt dog Bean watched the opening sequence with the squirrel (the whole thing) even waiting for the squirrel to come out of the side of the telly.
